Job Description
New and growing Creative/Production/Post company, Format (formerly Expressway Productions) is seeking an Editor to join our team! This position will be involved in all facets of projects from initial creative development, production and primarily editorial post-production and finishing. The Editor will work in collaboration with our producers, directors, editors and animators for a variety of short-form client projects.
Experience:
2-3 years experience in professional post-production work
Pro-level user of Adobe Premiere and After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Da Vinci Color Suite
3D composite/rendering software (e.g. Cinema 4D) a definite plus
Experience in working from a client-provided script to produce a quick turnaround edit
Experience in working on post projects individually through delivery (edit, color, sound, etc.)
Experience with creative development and/or production a plus
Knowledge of network-based editing workflows is an added bonus
Qualifications
Must be incredibly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
Must be self-sufficient and open to last-minute changes to projects
Must be a collaborative editor with a positive energy
Ability to track e-mails and project management tools on a daily basis
Ability to communicate clearly with client is an added bonus
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Format is seeking candidates for both part-time and full-time positions. Our standard operating hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm. Night and weekend work may be required on a per project basis.
