Additional Information.
Production states: “An ensemble series about that awkward stage in life when you find yourself stuck. You have no clue how you got there. And you have no idea where to start to get unstuck. The series follows these people on their journey of getting unstuck. The web series is based on the short film ‘Dear Life, You Suck! Journal Entry One.’ That premiered at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. As well as screened at Reelblack’s Film screening and Philm Factory’s Film Lounge. The pilot They Lied to Us was screened at the Ritz Theater as part of the three-piece production showcase in 2021. And has been accepted into 2022 The Philadelphia Independent Film Festival and Film Collective Short Film Festival.
Production states: “Our goal was to shoot episodes 2 and 3 while applying to film festivals with episode 1 and self-distribute through crowdfunding. In 2022 we had a good festival run. We wrapped episodes 2-7. Unfortunately, we didn’t reach our crowdfunding goal but the cast and crew all agreed to continue with the production. We’re gearing up to film the final episode of the season. With that being said this is a completely independent production. All I have is a vision and I need the right people to help share that vision. The show will premiere on YouTube.”
