Casting Call – Role: Emergency Room Nurse in Feature Film
We are currently in pre-production for our feature-length crime/thriller film.
Synopsis: To Avenge tells the story of a recent college grad (Vera) who is sexually assaulted by a group of four wealthy, young men after she spends a fun evening on the boardwalk with a friend. After she is assaulted, Vera calls the police and is taken to the ER where she’s cared for by a physician, nurse, the hospital’s pushy Rape Victims’ Advocate and is also questioned by detectives. Her attackers are later caught and arrested, but use their family’s wealth and connections to escape justice.
Schedule: To Avenge will begin filming in 2019, mid-September through October 24th. We will be shooting on the east coast in and around the resort town of Ocean City, MD.
Role: This casting call is for the role of a busy/overworked female Emergency Room nurse. This actor is needed for two scenes. There is brief dialog (2-3 lines) for this character as she moves in and out of the patient’s room and interacts with Vera and her parents. Actor is portraying a young to middle-aged, attractive and professional member of the health care team. *Please note, we are not in need of a nurse and real-life nursing experience isn’t required.
Physical Description: Overall fit. Especially open to conservative, cute, nerdy looks. Petite to average height and approximately early 20’s to mid 40’s. Professional-sounding, speaks well and with authority.
