- I am looking for 4 potential actors for the student film Post-Heist. All characters are male leaning, but are open to anyone. Any experience level OK.
The story:
Post-heist follows a failed thief, Hotel, after he lost his crew in a heist gone wrong. He tries to connect with his criminal boss and father figure in order to figure out what and why everything is happening and their relationship with one another. But Hotel is still being pursued.
Roles:
Hotel (20-35 Years old, Lead): Recently wounded and frazzled individual who is attempting to save himself and his boss after they are tricked. Looks up to his Boss like a sort of father figure. As the last of his group, he struggles with the responsibility left on him and the guilt of being the only survivor.
Boss (40-60, Supporting): Male preferred. An older, wiser criminal, who tries to rein in Hotel and salvage what he can from the situation. The boss is an individual who tries to appear cold and calculating, but struggles to hold up the facade when things go wrong or his people are in danger.
Yankee (20’s): A snarky young adult who serves as an assistant to the Boss. Annoyingly enthusiastic. Accepts their position as the groups punching bag, but is actually working as a double agent with Soulpatch. A conniving son-of-a-gun.
Soulpatch (30 and up): Male preferred. Bald or short hair required. Having an actual soul patch would be a plus, not required. Part of the group that trapped and killed Hotel and Bosses team, Currently pursuing Hotel. Soulpatch is a calm and collected individual, moves mechanically, and breathes efficiency. Think of the Terminator. Speaks in German, but the lines are few and incredibly short.
Date and Location:
We are currently planning to shoot from May 12th-14th, With actors only needing to be on-set for 1 day depending on their roles.
Hotel & Soulpatch – Friday, May 12th
Boss & Yankee – Saturday, May 13th
The 14th serves as a raincheck or make-up day. Could potentially become either shoot if schedule changes.
Currently planning to film in Ardmore, PA, and University city, Philadelphia. Ability to get yourselves to these locations are once again, preferred but not required.
Other Info:
Providing your own wardrobe (suit and tie) is a huge plus, but not required.
Small crew, besides cast, only 4-6 crew members. Catering and drink will be provided.
