I am filming an independent, sci-fi television project. The person who auditions for this part must:
• Be able to work on the film some (but not all) weekends
• Live in Pennsylvania (mainly in Philadelphia)
• Have the means to travel to filming locations on their own if necessary
• Be COVID vaccinated and boosted (for COVID-19 protection)
Project Title: Walker of the Universe
Synopsis: Nathan Walker is an average teenager of Earth, who is taken from Earth, into outer space on a mission to save the universe.
Varla:
She is the second in ruling to the city of Kaltorus on the planet Kaltor.
She is married to Avatar, ruler of the city Kaltorus located on the planet Kaltor. Like Avatar, Varla is very regal and well-spoken. Almost Shakespearian in nature.
The actor who will play the character named Varla needs to be:
• An African-American female
• Between the ages of 30 to 35
• Medium, average build
• Average height for person of her age
• Hair can be bottom of neck to shoulder. Although we may have you wear a braided wig (that will be decided before filming)
The dates and times for the auditions can be discussed on a case by case basis.
*Also, the auditions will be done virtually only.*
Rehearsal for this part is planned July 8th and filming for this part is planned for July 29th.
