This is a class short film project about a couple’s relationship deteriorating following a family vacation invitation. After Nick invites Jesse to his family’s second house, Nick begins to pressure her to change who she is to please his parents.
Actors won’t be paid but will be fed on set and at any in-person rehearsals, and will be given screen credit.
The shoot will take a place in and around a townhome in West Philly near Drexel campus on a full day on 10/28. We will also be looking to do one zoom rehearsal and one in person rehearsal which we can coordinate together.
Nick (Man, 20’s) – An ambitious real estate developer with wealthy and demanding parents. After inviting his girlfriend to his family vacation at their second house, his relationship with Jesse begins to feel strained.
Jesse (Woman, 20’s) – Currently working as a waitress while developing her writing, dreaming of being a novelist, she feels her relationship change after her boyfriend Nick’s invitation to his family vacation.
Mikey (Man, 20’s) – A graphic designer who loves a party but is currently experiencing a rut and looking for new friends, he happens upon Nick who he studied abroad with.
