Casting “Burn Out,” a summer romance film surrounding character, Frida Coleman-Wood who has prioritized school her whole life. Now that she’s finished college, she doesn’t know what to do with the rest of it. Back home her dad waits for her to plan her future. Frida plans to avoid planning altogether in favor of laying back and chilling out, but her childhood best friend has other plans… that may or may not entail falling in love.
Frida, (18-25 yo) fresh college graduate, former A student, who doesn’t know what to do with herself now that school is over. Zora’s older sister.
Zora, (7-12 yo) a precocious kid who loves horror movies and making puppets. Has a very hard time making friends. Frida’s little sister.
Happy, (18-25) an artist college dropout finally planning to do something with his life. Childhood best friend of Frida, mentors Zora in her art.
Scheduled rehearsal dates TBA; tentative shoot dates are July 15-18 and August 5-8, but are subject to change, in Philadelphia, PA area.
