I am in the final pre-production stages of casting for a feature film, BACKSTAGE.

This film focuses on the backstage life of community theater. It will highlight the behind the scenes chaos and shenanigans that occur as this fictional theater prepares to put on their show. It’s an ensemble cast that will be a comedy/drama.
I am looking for a NON-UNION actress to fill in the remainder of my cast. Actress will be given a small stipend for their involvement. LOCAL HIRE ONLY. Filming will be in Middletown, Delaware.
What am I looking for?
LUCY: FEMALE. ANY ETHNICITY. AGE 25-35 One of the co-stars of the production. She thrives off of dry humor and one-liners. Imagine an Aubrey Plaza type.
About the Production:
This will be a 14 day shoot. Filming will be August 21 – September 3. The character Lucy will not be needed all 14-days.
Availability MUST BE FLEXIBLE.
Must meet these requirements:
1. Non-Union
2. Local Hire only (filming in Middletown, DE)
3. MUST be available film during the week and weekends
4. MUST be able to film in the EARLY mornings into the late afternoon.
5. MUST have little to no conflicts. This is a large ensemble film. It will be difficult to honor conflicts in an ensemble piece.
