PAID CASTING CALL FOR ‘BETAVERSE’
-An experimental grant-funded Virtual Reality Film that is loosely based on the events of the Cold War. It is an introspective film that explores how algorithms inform our political biases. “Betaverse” is produced by Kevin Merinsky; the Creative Technology Specialist for the Center for Immersive Media at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
SHOOTING DATES: Though tentative and subject to change based on actor availability, shooting will most likely take place between September 4th and September 10th.
COMPENSATION: Each role will be paid a flat rate of $100 to $125 for approximately 3 hours of work.
LOCATION: All shooting will take place at 311 S. Juniper Street, Philadelphia PA.

We are casting 13 roles, and all of them are open to anyone regardless of gender and race. Our casting is interested in talent, diversity, and actors’ interpretation of the role; not physical appearance.
