PROJECT DESCRIPTION
You Were Dead Yesterday is a Horror film: At the height of a zombie apocalypse, one family discovers the outbreak that is destroying their community was a conspiracy led by the federal government
Talent must be okay with slight SFX makeup.
Preferably local talent but travel reimbursement can be discussed if selected. Daily Rate, Credit, and Food will be provided.
Notes for Minors; There is violence and weapons (fake) in the project but Minors will not be in those scenes. A parent/guardian will be within sight and sound of the Minors at all times while they are working. No monitor provided. This project will be in compliance with all state child entertainment laws.

Lead. Female. 55-70
55 to 70 years old, African, Black woman. 65-year-old retired preacher, finds her faith tested amidst a zombie apocalypse with dwindling resources. Firm in her belief that they are living in biblical times. Gerry is determined to bring her family to salvation before it’s too late. Serving as a beacon of hope and spiritual guidance in a world plagued by darkness. LEAD. Rate $150 per day

Lead. Male. 55-70
55 to 70 years old, African, Black man. Henry, a disabled war veteran and devoted husband to Gerry for over 30 years, is a calm, commanding, and orderly man with a strong sense of lawfulness. As the patriarch of the Ackermanns’ household, he provides a steady and caring presence for Nola and Daniel, guiding them with wisdom and affection. His balanced demeanor is crucial in managing the dynamic between Avery and Gerry and maintaining harmony within the family. His journey is one of resilience and sacrifice. NOTE: Henry will have a non firing gun. This will be a prop. No actual gun will be used. LEAD. Rate: $150 per day

Lead. Male. 10-15
10 to 15 years old, African, Black boy. Daniel is a quiet demeanor kid, who often finds himself the target of teasing, especially from his sister, Nola. Despite this, his experience as a former Boy Scout has instilled in him a free-spirited and adventurous nature, making him resilient and resourceful. In the post-apocalyptic world, Daniel is on a quest for purpose, seeking to make a meaningful impact amidst the chaos. LEAD. Rate: $125 per day
