Temple Pilots Productions is currently casting for its newest pilot episode, “South Street.” Temple Pilots is a Mid-Atlantic Emmy-winning, narrative anthology series produced by students for TUTV. Our episodes air on the TUTV network to a live local television audience and are afterwards released on Youtube! We shoot the last 2 weekends of February.
This is an amazing opportunity to have material for acting reels and to collaborate with other artists!
We are casting the following roles:
Big Lou: (Supporting Role, 40s-50s, Male). Owner of the block’s popular record store, he is seasoned, wise, and over protective. He is a hoarder at heart and a sentimental worrier.
Wiz: (Supporting Role, 30s to 50s, Male.) He is an odd ball and lovable neighborhood weirdo. Due to past trauma, he acts like an actual wizard.
Brother Cool: (Minor Role, 30s to 50s, Male). He is a dear friend of Big Lou and Wiz, having grown up with them. Although he calls himself an entrepreneur, he is a con-man and can be somewhat narcissistic. He works a regular 9-5 and balances that with his hustler side, always looking to make an extra buck.
Smiles: (Main Lead, Early 20s, Male). He lives feeling a lack of purpose. He has no-direction and is down on his luck. Although sweet and smart, he can be extremely lazy.
Smokey: (Main Lead, Early 20s, Male). Laid back and chill. He is Smiles’, best friend, and brings the comedy. Although street smart, he is a scaredy cat.
If interested in auditioning, please send a resume, headshot, and/or work samples to templepilotscasting@gmail.com and state what roles you are interested in. Thanks and break a leg!
