With the motto of “Don’t start nothing won’t be nothing,” she’s the natural protector of her tight-knit but uncool friend group. Fearless, fun, and mostly practical. SHAY. Female, 12-16, Black. Cute, confident, quick-witted, and stylish. Shay is everyone’s favorite person, the popular adjacent hood girl of our central friend group. Charismatic & devil-may-care. Shay is all about social fun, rocking the latest fashions, and dancing the night away. LEAD. *PLEASE NOTE AGE WHEN SUBMITTING*
LAMONT. Male, 12-16, Black. A sweet, confident, and gangly Loverboy who marches to the beat of his own drum. Precociously suave, with the soul of a hopeless romantic.
