Logline:
Follow a young woman’s tumultuous inner thoughts as she struggles to come to terms with a fading memory of her late Grandmother while building up the nerve to live authentically and quit her job.

Iris, the accountant, has followed the blueprint laid out for her by her parents and society, never living life for herself. No more! Her Grandma’s death has pushed her over the edge, now she must quit her job and live an authentic life!

Bold. Quirky. Rule breaker. Authentic. Wise. Encouraging. Loving.
Boring secretary, turned truth-seeking journalist, turned hobbyist drummer in retirement. She is the coolest Grandma ever! Having recently passed away, she exists as a figment of Iris’s imagination. Always on Iris’s mind, she provides wisdom in an imaginary heart to heart.
Mom (Jo Brown)

Protective. Pushy. Successful. Leader. Rule follower.
She’s a mom who just wants the best for her daughter, Iris. Ensuring her daughter’s financial success will protect her daughter from harm because money brings security, freedom, and power. As the Director of Sales at [Insurance Company], she uses her experience climbing the corporate ladder to steer Iris in the right direction.
Boss (Jerry)

Jerry sips a smoothie and looks apathetic.
Filming will take place over the course of 3 days in Philadelphia, ideally in late September or early October. (This is a low-budget passion project of mine! I deeply appreciate everyone who applies and wants to be a part of making this dream come true!! It will be such a fun experience, we’ll celebrate the milestones together. Thank you!
