Perception follows the story of four best friends, Zach, Will, Tyler, and Luke, whose daily lives intersect at this bar. The group goes through up’s and down’s as they juggle their personal lives with life’s hardships.

Looking to cast several roles. It’s important for Zach, Tyler, Will, and Luke to have strong chemistry with each other.
ZACH – Male. Lead. 20’s-30’s. Any ethnicity. Zach’s story is the central storyline throughout the film. He is modest and hard working. He is infatuated with co-worker, Olivia, and is trying to find the courage to ask her out.
TYLER – (Role already cast)
WILL – Male. Lead. 20’s-30’s. Any ethnicity. Good friend of Zach, Tyler, and Luke. Will is a single father who is going through a custody battle with his ex, Chelsea
LUKE – Male. Lead. 20’s-30’s. Any ethnicity. Good friend of Zach, Tyler and Will. Luke constantly looks after Will who often finds himself in sticky situations.
OLIVIA – Female. Supporting. 20’s-30’s. Any ethnicity. She’s a co-worker of Zach. She is strong minded and has a dry sense of humor. Love interest of Zach. She has dark secrets of her own.
CHELSEA – Female. Day player role. 20’s-30’s. Any ethnicity. Will’s ex. She threatens to fight for full custody of their son.
GINA – Female. Supporting. 20’s-40’s. Non-white. Gina is considered the unofficial 5th member of Zach’s group. She offers words of encouragement and wisdom to Zach.
MELINDA – Female. Supporting. 50’s-60’s. White. Tyler’s verbally abusive mother. Prescription drug abuser. She is a regular at the bar. Good friend of Doris.
DORIS – Female. Supporting. 50’s-60’s. Any ethnicity. Zach’s mom. She babysits Melinda often and does her best to keep her in line. She is a good friend to Melinda.
JANIS – Female. Supporting. 20’s-30’s. Any ethnicity. Dorky. A woman down on her luck. Low self confidence.
DEREK – Male. Day player role. 20’s-40’s. Any ethnicity. Sleazy bar guest. Completely full of himself.
Filming will take place in Northern Delaware. Filming dates are TBD, but we are aiming for sometime in November – January.
