In the heart of Philadelphia’s vibrant creative arts scene, an ego-driven writer embarks on a transformative journey. Plagued by a severe case of writer’s block, he delves into the city’s underground world, seeking inspiration and the elusive words that escape him.
Roles Available:
Shaq – Black Male – Early 20’s, a decorated poet/writer, deep-seated insecurity masked by arrogance, yearns for connection despite pushing people away, a Philly native.
Abiya – Black Female – Early 20’s, gifted singer-songwriter, magnetic stage presence, authentic and emotionally resonant, uplifting and supportive to those around her, a Philly native.
Greg – Black Male – Early 20’s, a skilled multi-instrumentalist, reserved and introverted, deep understanding of music, passionate collaborator despite a quiet demeanor.
Cici – Black Female – Early 20’s, an event coordinator, warm and approachable, efficient and organized, passionate advocate for the arts, strong sense of community.
Requirements & application Process:
– No previous acting experience is required. We’re looking for raw talent and a genuine connection to the characters.
We will be filming in the Philadelphia area on the following days: June 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd. Please note: not all talent will be required for all four days.
