An awesome chess-themed murder mystery, King’s Club is a story about a young man named Ren in his high school and college years. In this feature film, Ren gets involved in a car accident after a new years party and gets put in a coma until late summer of the next year. Once he wakes up, Ren has psychic powers to read other people’s minds and joins a secret society to try and find a serial killer.

Kings Club is a Murder Mystery Movie with action, drama, and emotion. As such, the writing of this movie requires a lot of acting talent. I am looking for the following cast and crew roles:

Ren / King – Young adult male:
The protagonist – Ren has kind of a snarky personality. He is the main character of the movie and talks in a deep tone of voice

Jack – Young Adult male:
The high school friend – Jack is a people pleaser and goes along with whatever his friends wan

Allison – Young adult female:
The high school ex gf – Allison is a sweetheart, she is Ren’s ex-girlfriend, but they are still good friends.

Masked Man / Jake / Ace – Young adult male:
The serial killer and main antagonist – A cocky son of a bitch, this man does not flinch at seeing death or graphic violence. His occupation is a therapist. He speaks in kind of a batman-joker type tone but a bit more emotionless. He is the embodiment of “I don’t care, whatever happens happens” He is also invisible and can turn other people invisible.

Abraham – Young adult male:
The “Campus King” – A natural leader yet keeps to himself. He takes charge when charge needs to be taken. He can be a bit hot headed at times.

Jay – Young adult male:
Think super nice Chad energy, that’s how you get Jay. He is kind and very very popular, but he can also get hot headed.

Jessica – Young adult female:
Jay’s Girlfriend. – Very independent but in love with Jay.

Private Franklin / OG “King” – Adult Male 25-45:
The Mentor – This guy is the Great Gatsby of this universe. He was a very wealthy man in his time (the 1920’s) and then died in WW2 – He helps the protagonist on his journey to find Jake and helps the protagonist find himself in the process.

Ren’s Parents – Older adult male and female 40-60:
The parents – Not much to say here. They’re basically just white collared parents.

Kings Club Partygoers – Young Adults:
The members – These people are involved in only a few scenes when the parties are happening. Once again, The parties are very fancy, classy, and mellow. Think great Gatsby.

News Anchor – Any adult age any gender:
Easy enough role, self-explanatory

Laura – TBD – Young adult female:
The girlfriend – Ren’s new girlfriend. she is somewhat cautious, but does eventually trust people again.

Victims – Young adult females:
The victims are all women from the King’s Club. Victims need to be easily scared but not in an obvious way. Moreso unsettling until they know their fate is sealed.

Jamie the Psychiatrist – Adult Female or male:
Jamie is the psychiatrist training Jake, and talking to Ren.

Logan – Young Adult male:
Logan is the second in command once Jay gets falsely accused for the murders. He is more mellow and less exciting than Jay, but still has that chad energy.

The Police/Public Safety – Adult or Young adult Males:
Police officers – self-explanatory need multiple roles

Sergeant Williams – Adult male:
Hardened by war, Sergeant Williams only appears in one scene, but man is he a tough guy. He is strong, capable, and cold.

Private Robert – Young adult male:
Private Robert is your military jokester who likes to have fun during off time.

Ren’s Lawyer – Adult male:
Just a lawyer – might be important in future projects but not for this one

Professor Hoarse – Elder male (50’s or above):
Professor Hoarse is a crazy nutjob chemistry professor that got fired and arrested for manufacturing small amounts of drugs. He is also Jake’s partner at the end.

This is a really big project I have spend months working on. You may or may not be paid for your acting based on if I can secure funding or not, that is why it is listed as volunteer. To reach out and audition, email business@firegemfilm.com. Once I get a team together and all positions are filled, we can further discuss the next steps.
