Greater Philadelphia Film Office
Flesh & Blood is a Drama/Thriller Film about a school shooting survivor “Caleb” who is torn between grief and forgiveness when he is forced to visit his assaulter “Dane” in prison.
This film will be shown with a series of other student short films at a local AMC movie theater on December 5th. This film will also be shot using the RED Scarlet.
The roles that need to be filled are the following:
“Caleb” (Gender: Male. Race: White. Age: 18.) – Will be called every day.
“Dane” (Gender: Male. Race: White. Age: 19.) – Will not be called every day.
Production Information: Shooting will take place October 14th, 15th, 21st, and 22nd with the 28th & 29th as back ups. These would take place from morning until the evening. Shooting will mainly take place on the DeSales University Campus in Center Valley PA with one or two locations off campus. Gas will be paid for if you have to travel far.
We will be using the DeSales University Virtual Production Studio for one of the shoots. DeSales University is one of the fewest schools in the country to have a virtual production studio. The Disney Plus show “The Mandalorian” was one of the first shows to use virtual production.

Director Bio: Connor Brost is an award winning filmmaker who has been making films since he was in middle school. He started off with an iPad and has progressed to operating cinema cameras such as the Sony FX9, the Black Magic, the Red Scarlet, and even the Red Helium which shoots in 8k. Connor specializes in Directing, Screenwriting, Cinematography, and Editing. His favorite genres include Action/Adventure, Horror, Drama, and Silent Films.
