FILM SUMMARY:
A Short film (Comedic drama) about a young woman named Jackie who cheats on her girlfriend and gets pregnant. She decides the best way to tell her is by throwing a “Congratulations you are not the Father party”. Her best friend, Sara, desperately tries to convince her not to throw it, putting a strain on their friendship.

TO CAST:
Jackie (19-23 years old): A serial cheater in a toxic relationship with her long-term girlfriend Nora. She doesn’t realize the severity of her situation/the effect it will have on those close to her.
-Funny and charismatic, but immature.
-Lead

Sara (19-23 years old): Jackie’s best friend and the voice of reason. Throughout the film she realizes that Jackie isn’t a good person/someone she should surround herself with, despite their years of friendship.
-Career driven and logical with a dry sense of humor
-Lead

FILMING:
-One day: Friday May 5 (this may be subject to change to the weekend/May 6th-7th if necessary) in University City/Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Un-paid and non-union job.
-Meals will be provided!
-Any range of acting experience is welcome!
