Robert X. Golphin Entertainment is a newly launched performing arts production company. Its founder, award-winning actor-filmmaker Robert X. Golphin (“The Great Debaters”, “How To Tie A Tie”) is featured on the latest GPFO Filmmaker Spotlight

Robert X. Golphin Entertainment is building its talent database and also in development on a short film. Projected start date is mid-December, two consecutive days. Talent must be Non-Union and local to the Philadelphia region.

SEEKING:

[ YOUNG MALE ]

Male, Age 6-11 to realistically portray 6-7 years old, Black. Must be able to handle intense, dramatic and emotional material. (Think a younger Lonnie Chavis in the film “Sunny Daze” on YouTube)…SUPPORTING LEAD.

[ MATRIARCH ]

Female, 50’s, Black. (An Aunjanue Ellis/Sheryl Lee Ralph/Phylicia Rashad/Janet Hubert type). Regal, stern, and authentic…SUPPORTING LEAD.

[ CURMUDGEON MAN ]

Male, 50-60’s, White. (Think Clint Eastwood/J.K. Simmons/Neal McDonough energy). Menacing, intimidating…SUPPORTING.

[ TEEN MALE ]

Male, 18+ to realistically play 15-17 years old, Black. Must be comfortable with dramatic and emotional material…SUPPORTING.

*Acting Reel (or Taped Monologue or scene).
*Please write talent name and character (e.g. Mike/Role of Chris) in email header.

Please don’t submit unless you meet the above criteria.
Open calls for union and non-union talent of all ages, backgrounds, etc. will be announced at a later date.
