Job Description:
The Camera Rental Agent is the main point of contact for inquiries and client requests coming to Expressway’s Camera Department. They are responsible for assisting clients with quotes, questions, and concerns. The Rental Agent will need to uphold Expressway’s professional standards and be the face of the company when working with customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Receiving rental inquiries and following up with clients about equipment availability, paperwork requirements, and any notes in regards to their estimate.
-Ensuring estimates and orders are being completed correctly and accurately in accordance with our system and procedures.
-Securing subrentals when necessary and coordinating logistics with subvendors to schedule pickups or shipment for the correct items to arrive in time for clients.
-Coordinating with other Expressway branches to check availability of and coordinate logistics for equipment needed to fulfill orders.
-Listening to clients technical questions or concerns and coordinating with Rental Techs to resolve the inquiry.
-Noting and reporting any maintenance issues regarding equipment brought up by the Rental Techs.
-Engaging with Rental Techs to properly fulfill complex orders.
-Accountable for creating and adhering to deadlines to fulfill complex orders.
-Ensuring receipt of tracking information on shipments and deliveries to verify scheduled purchases and subrentals arrive and depart on time.
-Executing administrative duties and any system oriented updates or additions including Inventory Management and keeping operational resources organized.
-Developing knowledge about the industry, equipment, and how to leverage the information to inform equipment purchase leads.
-Constantly searching for ways to improve the department’s operational ability – including identifying workflow efficiencies, improving communication procedures, and administrative tracking.

Qualifications:
-Strong verbal and written communications skills.
-Strong coordinating and scheduling abilities.
-Strong multitasking and organizational ability.
-Motivated and ambitious to complete tasks.
-Strong self-starting abilities.
-Strong knowledge of professional camera systems and industry standards, brands, equipment, and technical information.
-Able to make suggestions in regards to equipment compatibility, configurations, and possible solutions for basic technical issues.
-Proficient with Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
-Experience working in the equipment rental sector is a strong plus.
-Experience working on set within the camera department is a strong plus.
-Customer Service or Account Management experience is a strong plus.
