Synopsis: A married couple tries to find their spark over a dinner date.

Character BIOS[OLIVIA] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 30-40] Married to Elliot for a number of years now. They’ve been together since college (well over a decade). Olivia thinks of herself as a realist. She works in a hospital and is forced to deal with crises, big and small, on a daily basis. This kind of work can be stressful and demanding (physically and mentally), but Olivia is a cool-customer who thrives in that kind of high-pressure environment. She tends to be very expressive, a wear-your-heart-on-your-sleeve kind of person.

[ELLIOT] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 30-40] Married to Olivia for a number of years now. They’ve been together since college (well over a decade). Elliot is the dreamer in their relationship. Slightly introverted, more creatively inclined. Elliot works for a small company writing marketing copy. He harbors dreams of being a writer and is always “working on a novel” (though he’s never actually published anything). Elliot has a tendency to suppress his emotions to avoid confrontation, which can often result in an over-pouring of anger or resentment when he’s let his feelings go unannounced or repressed for too long.

[WAITER] [GENDER: ANY] [AGE: ANY] Works at a high-end restaurant. Smooth composure, experienced in working with an elite clientele.
