I am writing to see if you would be interested in acting in my play, Marcus Aurelius Channeled. We need one talented female actress with a knack for comedy. It will be performed as part of the Philly Free Fringe Festival. My script is attached.
Here are some relevant particulars:
Play Tile: Marcus Aurelius Channeled by Albert Fried-Cassorla
Dates and Times: Saturday and Sunday, September 21 & 22, noon to 5 each day
Organization and Event: Philadelphia Dramatist Center, Philly Free Fringe Festival (short plays by PDC member playwrights)
Basic Plot: The Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius come back to life and is almost worshiped by disciples of his philosophy, Stoicism. This is a comedy! Marcus is imperious, and his disciples are submissive and nuts.
Length; 6 – 8 pages, i.e. 6-8 minutes, off book
Venue: Arts Room, 4050 Haverford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: further acting experience and being part of an exciting creative even and a share of the gate- I do not know how it will be split.

Rehearsals: Likely dates so far are Sunday Sept. 8, Tuesday Sept. 10 & Monday, Sept. 16 – likely at 7 p
Rehearsals Location: TBD. We are exploring places. But we WILL find a place.
