GPFO is awarding the 3rd annual Philadelphia Storyteller Award to writer, director, producer, and native Philadelphian Lee Daniels. Lee’s recent critically acclaimed work includes The United States vs. Billie Holiday and Concrete Cowboy, the latter of which was filmed locally and conceptualized by Philadelphia’s own Neighborhood Film Company.

Lee will be presented with the award during a special VIP fundraiser hosted by Nancy Glass and Charles Lachman at their home on the Main Line. As a previous Philadelphia Storyteller awardee, Nancy is thrilled to celebrate Lee’s countless accomplishments in the film, television, and music realms.
