Josh Winrow

Josh Winrow is a queer black writer, director, and producer based in Philadelphia. Inspired by the surrealism that is living in modern society, wants to showcase stories that may not be shown; alternative, queer, and racial experiences. The joys and sorrows of life, the mundane to the eccentric, through a thought provoking lens that intrigues the mind. This passion for creating and art went into the creation of WinMore Media.

WinMore Media is an independent, vertically-integrated creative studio & production company inspired by surrealism & self-expression. Our motto is “Create or Be Consumed,” we write, produce, and distribute our own content which includes short films, series, podcasts, YouTube, and social content. We also host public events like film festivals and mixers for local creators in NJ & PA.

Together, we are a group of queer indie filmmakers, artists, and creators striving to elevate the stories of those who are overlooked or misunderstood, ultimately celebrating a wide spectrum of experiences. Our goal is to prioritize projects that are experimental in their aesthetics, creating a new world of media.

Currently, WinMore is in post-production for an original rom-com webseries pilot, and organizing an annual film festival called “Life in Shorts”. Showcasing short films that depict the different ways in which we live. From the mundane to the exciting, and everything in between. They are also hosting a film festival on July 12th at Cherry Street Pier from 6pm to 10pm.

Although we are a small team, we are committed to making a big impact.

We are currently open to financial backers & Sponsors! Financial backing would go towards project development, payroll, and event space.
