LA based screenwriter, novelist and producer who splits time between LA and Philadelphia (Malvern specifically) seeking a full-time Writer’s Assistant. Work includes two primary functions – writer’s support and producer’s support. The writer’s support will include story research, reading, proofreading, note taking and providing creative input. The producer’s support will include project evaluation (coverage, creating project summaries / tip-sheets), project development (work on projects currently in development) and light administrative duties, including scheduling, travel planning, day-to-day office support and coordinating with other staff, including the writer/producer’s personal assistant (also Philly-based) and LA staff. Ideal candidates include those aspiring to be writers, producers or directors. Salary based on experience. Strong benefits package including medical, dental and SEP IRA. |
