Job Description: Swyrn is a social + wellness-focused community event seeking a film or media student to assist with event night video capture and short-form promotional content.

The student would be responsible for:
• Capturing candid event footage (atmosphere, movement, interactions)
• Filming short clips suitable for social media and future promotion
• Light setup and breakdown of camera equipment
• Working alongside the event organizer to capture a specific creative vision and shot list
• Follow a light shot list provided by the organizer, with room for creative input
This is an on-site, single-evening event with potential for additional promo shoots leading up to the event.
The role is ideal for a student interested in:
• Event videography
• Documentary-style or lifestyle content
• Wellness, arts, and community-focused storytelling
• Building a portfolio with real-world branded content
Time Commitment:
• Approximately 3–4 hours on-site during the event
• Optional additional promo capture to be discussed
• No extensive post-production required
Equipment:
• Videographer to provide their own camera
• Stabilization preferred but not required
• Natural/available light shooting
Compensation:
• Compensation TBD and may include a stipend, portfolio credit, and permission to use footage for personal reels.
