We are looking for South Indian actors for the following roles:

Shreya, 20s, Female, South Indian, Speaks Telugu and English
– Shreya is smart, hardworking, and used to holding herself together. She’s an eldest daughter who is used to fixing everything. Shreya wants to be close to her dad and struggles to see his perspective.

Prasad, late 40s-50s, Male, South Indian, Speaks Telugu and English
– Prasad is an immigrant who worked hard to bring his family to the US. He loves his family and doesn’t know how to function without them. He hasn’t ever been alone and struggles with his new reality.

Vidya, 40s-50s, Female, South Indian, Speaks Telugu and English
– Vidya is Shreya’s mom and Prasad’s late wife. She is often the voice of reason in her family.
– Required only for Photoshoot/Studio Day.

Abhi, 10-20, Male, South Indian, Speaks English
– Abhi is Shreya’s younger brother. He’s a vibrant, young boy who is cherished by his family.
– Required only for Photoshoot/Studio Day.

Shoots for 5-6 days between November 21st and November 26th in The Greater Philadelphia Area. Additionally Photoshoot/Studio day required in Philadelphia prior to shoot. As this is a student film, this is a non-union production. Actors cannot be a member of SAG-AFTRA to audition or be cast.

This is a paid opportunity. Actors will receive a stipend that is to be determined in addition to compensation in credit, copy, and craft services.
