Job Title: Sound
Compensation: Paid
Job Category: Crew
Project Name: UNTITLED TV PILOT PROJECT
Contact: Grant Hamilton
Phone: 8603676106

Job Description: We’re looking for a reliable sound recordist to join a very lean two-person crew on an upcoming comedy project about a struggling actor navigating life in Philadelphia. This will be a fast-moving, documentary-style shoot. Think verité energy in the spirit of shows like Louie, Seinfeld, and Curb Your Enthusiasm, with a touch of Maysles Brothers-style realism. The goal is natural, grounded comedy that feels spontaneous and alive.

Crew Structure:
Director / Camera Operator (me)
Sound Recordist (you)

Because the crew is small, we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, calm under pressure, and comfortable working independently while staying in sync with camera. We’ll be moving around the city throughout the day, interiors, exteriors, run-and-gun setups, so flexibility and mobility are essential.

Responsibilities:
Capture clean dialogue in dynamic, real-world environments
Manage wireless lavs and/or boom as needed
Monitor audio levels and troubleshoot quickly on the fly
Stay nimble during location moves and changing conditions

Shoot Details:
Location: Philadelphia area
Duration: Approximately 2 shoot days
Timing: Sometime in May
Style: Documentary / verité / run-and-gun
Crew Size: 2 people total
Pay: $500

This is a collaborative, low-footprint production with a focus on efficiency, good energy, and problem-solving in the field.
