"Off-Campus" is a single-camera, half-hour comedy that follows five recent college grads living together as they embark on their journey on adulthood.
Hailey (Mid-20s, Female)
Open to all races
Hailey is a vibrant, socially active young doctor with a type-A personality. She’s also down-to-earth and loyal to her boyfriend, Richard, and friends. She takes her work as a surgeon seriously and tries to do well. At the moment, her goals are unclear, but she maintains a positive perspective on life, while being truthful to herself, her relationships, and her job.
Richard (Mid-20’s, Male)
Open to all races
Richard is an easy going everyman, deeply in love with Hailey, and going about life in the city as a young attorney. Reserved and a bit finicky, he tries to be one of the gang. He can also be energetic when given the proper motivation.
Felicia (Mid-20’s, Female)
Open to all races
Felicia a young woman in her mid to late 20’s. She is a very responsible person and cares for the people around her. She is a very grounded and realistic person who people go to for advice. She is aware that she is surrounded by goofballs and can come off as rather cold to them but deep down she loves her friends and wants them to do well in life.
NICK (Mid-20s, Male)
Open to all races
Nick is the straight man in this quirky group of friends—a role he plays with a mix of sincerity and cluelessness. Sometimes awkward and often oblivious to the vibe around him, but always sweet-natured, Nick sometimes struggles to read the room. Ironically, when everyone else spirals into chaos, Nick becomes the unlikely voice of reason, grounded and composed.
DEAN (Mid-20s, Male)
Open to all races
Dean, the scion of a wealthy family, is slightly immature, self-centered, and emotionally avoidant, but masks it with charm and overconfidence. He often puts himself first, sometimes at the expense of others. Still, he has a sentimental side that surfaces with the people he truly cares about. Proud of his family name, Dean carries a quiet pressure to meet expectations, which fuels both his ego and insecurity. |
