Story: As a rundown family business community swimming hole prepares to close its gates for good, a young manager confronts family conflicts, hidden truths, and the bittersweet weight of change, fighting to hold onto the memories before they fade like ripples in the water.

CHARACTERS:

RILEY (early 20’s, fem presenting) Recent college grad, home for summer and restless after city life. Doesn’t want to be back home, but senses today is special.

ASPEN (early 20’s, fem presenting) Seasonal employee, returning every summer since she could work. Passionate about art but hasn’t seen life beyond her hometown.

LOUIS (mid 50’s, male) Emotionally distant bookkeeper, indifferent to family and the swimming hole. Just wants out. Father to Riley.

STEPHANIE (early 50’s, female) Runs swimming hole activities, warm and caring, but fed up with Louis and their marriage.
