Job Description: Will be shooting in West Philadelphia/University City on up to 3 days between May 9th through May 24. Days will not exceed 12 hours and scheduling will be flexible around actors’ schedules.

This film will be UNPAID but actors can expect meals, screen credit, and potentially transportation compensation.

This is a sophomore-level student film about Tashi who pulls her life together as she falls in love with her dream girl next door, who may or may not be too good to be true.

Casting description:
– Tashi (23): A maladaptive daydreamer and people pleaser escapes into manga to dream of an easier life. Lead role. No intimacy. Tashi wishes she could build her dream life that’s as easy and happy as a slice-of-life manga, and when she meets Jane, she begins to build the courage to change her fate.

– Jane (24): Private and mysterious gay girl-next-door sparks a new friendship with her neighbor. Romantic interest. Slight intimacy required. Jane’s an artist with a secret

– Matt (25): Asshole finance bro who wishes his girlfriend took things more seriously. Supporting role. No intimacy.

– Girl (24): A date/one-night-stand of Jane. Slight intimacy required.
