| Job Description: | Looking for an amazing and well-established comedic Director, and Producer, to film the Pilot for the comedy series, DK the gig, about a middle-aged musician whose ego is much larger than the restaurant stage he plays on every weekend. Bigger picture, the show is a universally-relatable series about a very-rough-around-the-edges-but-still-likeable underachiever and the group of very quirky and flawed people who are all stuck in his orbit.
This has been quite the rollercoaster ride, but to make an incredibly long story short, the show has had a lot of interest and momentum in the past, and just when things were really about to take off, COVID hit and pulled the plug on the entire production. It was pulled together once again, and COVID-19 killed that attempt as well. At that point, I had had enough and put the show on the shelf to work on other projects. Now that COVID is not the issue it once was, I am ready to get back to it and want to film a full-length pilot episode. I want to assemble a great team whose sensibilities align with this series, to do something of quality, and something really fun. Looking for crafty professionals with real attention-to-detail. I just want to make this pilot amazing, and that’s all I’m focusing on right now.
