MARYELLEN — Female, 50-60. Warm, faith-driven mother holding the family together. Nick’s strongest support system and most trusted relationship.
ROBERT — Male, 50-60. Stoic father, struggling with developing his own emotional vulnerability to best care for his son.
CHRISTIAN — Male, early to mid 20s. Nick’s younger brother with whom he has a strained, even resentful, relationship with. Muscular, with a “no excuses” sense of discipline.

SUPPORTING:
NICOLE — Female, early to mid 20s. Grounded, protective new mother.
