When the Music Stops follows Jamal (a young Black Gay Man) from childhood, through young adulthood, and finally to a tragic climax. This script deals with very sensitive subjects that may be controversial, including nightclub scenes with the drug use, as well as HIV and AIDS. We are looking for a Director that has the insight to be able to tell an LGBTQIA story, but but who can also communicate the perspective of a family and the rest of the world who is less accepting, but be able to do this in a real and believable way. |
