Wasting Time is a short film about Charlie, a reserved office worker, who’s evening takes a turn when he meets Lucy, a confident young woman, at the bar his coworkers drag him to.

Madison – Female, mid-late 20s, ANY ETHNICITY
Lucy’s best friend. Madison is the kind of person who radiates quiet kindness and consistency. While she might not always catch on to deeper currents of conflict or manipulation, her loyalty and goodness make her a grounding presence in her social circle.

Jackson – Male, late 20s-mid 30s, ANY ETHNICITY
Charlie’s coworker. Jackson is a man who feels disappointed by his present. He can often be found at the water cooler at work gossiping with Jayden. He wants to be the loudest in the room because he feels he deserves the spotlight. Can often be pushy if he wants something.

Jayden – Male, late 20s-mid 30s, ANY ETHNICITY
Charlie’s coworker. Jayden is a man who wants to relive the past. He is often following Jackson’s lead in mocking their coworkers. He doesn’t think before he speaks because he believes he knows best. Can often be dismissive.
