Logline: A small town falls victim to a terrifying supernatural force that manifests as yellow balloons hovering behind the townsfolk.

Summary: Adam is a young finance worker who wakes up one morning to find that his small town, Mapleworth, has been overrun by yellow balloons that hover behind all the townsfolk—everyone except him. No one knows why Adam is the only person without a balloon, and neither does he, leading to growing tension between him and the other residents, including his anxious partner, Jeremy. As time goes on, the balloons start popping one by one, releasing a force more terrifying than Mapleworth could have ever anticipated. Is Adam somehow responsible for this chaos, or is there a much greater threat targeting the town and its people?

Adam’s partner. Gentle, anxious, and deeply empathetic, but his nerves grow strained as the town turns against Adam and as the balloons begin to pop.
