LOGLINE:
A relaxed board game night is upended by an old friend with a terrible grudge.

ROLES:
All characters are in their 20s.
MIKE – College aged optimist. Someone who always sees the good in others and tries to keep the peace, often to a fault.
LEO – Mike’s best friend and roommate. A realist who is beginning to become upset with Mike’s persistent optimism.
JESS – Leo’s girlfriend, a shy, conflict-averse girl who’s thrown into the middle of a fight between her boyfriend and her ex.
ANTONIO – Previously a 3rd best friend to Mike and Leo and Jess’s ex. After a falling out, he comes to the game night seeking a show of power. He is a sociopath who speaks with odd idiosyncrasies.
ANDREA – A cheery girl who originally is quite fond of Antonio’s wit and intelligence, only to become horrified by his rude behavior.
SAM – Much like Andrea she is also fond of Antonio. She struggles to discern between Antonio’s charisma and callousness.

DETAILS:
This is a student short film directed by award-winning Romanian filmmaker Vlad Gherghel. Shootings will take place in University City, Philadelphia, two days in September 12th-15th interval. Food and snacks will be provided!
