Job Description: | “The Green Room” Casting Call
About: The Green Room is an upcoming student thesis film about a family of seven (almost eight) living with their seemingly magical Grandparents. Filming location: Almyra, PA LEAD CHARACTER: Maggie (10)- The oldest sibling and natural leader of the bunch- responsible, confident, and always looking after everyone else. SUPPORTING CHARACTERS: Drew (8)- The oldest boy- care-free, annoyingly smart, and doesn’t know when to stop rough-housing around. Henry (7)- The middle child- goofy and endlessly curious. A kind-hearted “strong boy” who can make anyone laugh, even with his constant questions. Graham (6)- The youngest brother, sensitive but sweet, and freakishly athletic. Mom (38)- Pregnant with her sixth- exhausted but endlessly resourceful, the craftiest woman you’ll ever meet. Dad (39)- The family’s workhorse- strong, dependable, and always taking hour-long naps. Gramma (61)- A vibrant maximalist woman- kooky, colorful, and happiest when surrounded by her family. Grandpa (62)- All-knowing, smart, storytelling man who adores his wife and cherishes his people. *** Child Actors can choose from any of the four sides to read for a video submission, which includes their name, age, height, and a fun fact. Please include photos too (professional or non-professional) Mom, Dad, Gramma, and Grandpa need to send a video of them reading the side for the character they are auditioning for, a headshot, and a resume.
