Job Description:
We’re seeking a Camera Assistant / 3rd Camera Operator for a one-day shoot capturing a 12-piece music ensemble, performing live in a music studio. The song is featured in a major motion picture soundtrack and movie to be released this summer. The ideal candidate has prior on-set experience, is comfortable supporting a fast-moving camera team, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to set.

The role includes first assisting with load-in from our grip truck, directly assisting the g&e team, followed by camera setup and operation, swapping lenses and media, and operating + shooting third camera unit at the request of our DP. Experience operating SONY FX3 (6 or 9) is required, and familiarity with lighting and grip gear is a plus.

Responsibilities Include:

Grip: Load in / Load out.
Assisting DP and 1st AC with camera builds and breakdown
Swapping lenses, batteries, and cards quickly and safely
Operating a 3rd camera (locked-off or mobile) during select shots
Helping maintain smooth camera workflow throughout the day
Staying flexible and solutions-oriented on set.
