7th Street Gang is a Philadelphia-based, 20-minute short film blending drama, suspense, and action. We are seeking a passionate and collaborative crew to help bring the project from pre-production through post-production. This is an opportunity to work on a story-driven short with a strong emphasis on tension, character, action, and cinematic visual storytelling.

We are looking for crew members across all stages of production, including:
Editors — Assemble the film, shape pacing and suspense, and create a cohesive final cut.
Gaffers / Lighting Crew — Design and execute lighting setups that support the dramatic and suspenseful tone.
Camera Department — Assist with capturing dynamic action sequences and character-driven scenes.
Sound Department — Capture clean production audio and help establish the atmosphere and tension of the film.
Production Design / Art Department — Help create authentic environments and visual details that support the story.
Grip / Electric — Support camera and lighting setups throughout production.
Assistant Directors / Production Crew — Help coordinate the set and keep production organized and on schedule.
Color / Post-Production — Develop a consistent cinematic look and complete the film’s visual finishing.
VFX / Action Support — Assist with action-oriented elements, effects, and any necessary post-production enhancements.
Responsibilities may include:
Collaborating with the director and creative team during pre-production.
Preparing equipment, locations, shot lists, schedules, and other production materials.
Executing creative and technical responsibilities on set.
Supporting the filming of action, drama, and suspense sequences.
Maintaining a professional, collaborative, and organized set environment.
Participating in post-production workflows, including editing, sound, color, and finishing where applicable.
Helping ensure the final 20-minute film reflects the intended tone and creative vision.
Ideal Crew
We’re looking for dedicated filmmakers and crew members who want to collaborate on an ambitious, Philadelphia-based narrative project. Experience in narrative filmmaking, action production, or suspense-oriented storytelling is a plus, but a strong work ethic, creativity, and willingness to collaborate are equally important. Crew will work closely with the creative team to build a visually engaging and suspenseful short film from the ground up. |
