Genoa, written, co-directed and starring Temple’s Neal Dhand

GENOA is a surrealist take on fatherhood and family. Shot in Italy, Philadelphia, and Chicago, and currently in post-production, the film was written and co-directed by, and stars Neal Dhand, a Philadelphian and Temple University professor.

GENOA follows Alphonso, who flees to the eponymous city with his daughter in tow, and meets a strange cast of unexpected characters. As absurd and noirish as it is gentle and downbeat, GENOA is also about isolation, mania, and time.

The filmmakers are currently seeking people for a test screening. RSVP here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5WPQMSM
