Devon is a disheveled, middle-aged man, homeless and clad in soiled marathon running clothes and a butcher’s coat. Like Luanna, he is a cerebral, sensitive human, who is contrary and complicated. He is a man running from immediate peril, with a past shrouded in mystery.

Daniel is a gentle, all-welcoming restaurateur and family man. He and his wife run an organic restaurant in a quaint town in upstate New York. He is educated, svelte, and soft-spoken, beloved by his customers and staff.

“Daniel Le Flou” – Synopsis: A precocious teenager, Luanna, befriends a middle-aged homeless man, Devon, a drifter in peril in her rural Pennsylvania town. The two share an eccentric, quick kinship with one another until Luanna witnesses Devon’s murder. Months later, Luanna attends college at a school in upstate New York, where she stalks a restaurateur and family man, Daniel, who she believes to be the late-Devon’s doppelganger.
