| Two Acre films and award-winning playwriter Julian Bernhardt are coming together to bring the story of Silas to life.
LOGLINE: A recently engaged transgender man, Silas, aims to enjoy a new chapter of life while finding courage to set boundaries with his single-parent mother continues to use his dead name. We are currently casting these roles for shooting October 17,18 and 19 in Philadelphia. NOTE: The Roles of Silas and Agnes are eligible for in person casting in West Philly on 9/6, the rest of the roles will be self taped. [Silas]- Lead. 28 years old. Transgender man. Quiet and reserved book lover and bookstore employee. Grew up as an only child with his single mother, Agnes. Engaged to Laura. Is three years into transitioning and deciding whether he will bring his transphobic mother into his new life.
