I am filming an independent, sci-fi television project. The person who auditions for this part must:
• Be able to work on the film some (but not all) weekends
• Live in Pennsylvania (mainly in Philadelphia)
• Have the means to travel to filming locations on their own if necessary
• Be COVID vaccinated and boosted (for COVID-19 protection)
Project Title: Walker of the Universe
Synopsis: Nathan Walker is an average teenager of Earth, who is taken from Earth, into outer space on a mission to save the universe.
Nathan:
Average teenager of his time; self-centered and somewhat cocky; but is also brave and a quick thinker on his feet. He wears a signature baseball hat like Indiana Jones wears his Fedora hat. He is frightened as well as in awe on the mission that has been thrusted on him.
The actor who will play the character named Nathan needs to be:
• An African-American male
• Between the ages of 18 to 23, but look like they can pass for a high-school student
• Medium to athletic-build
• Average height for person age 18 to 23
• Regular, neat, one length all around, low-cut hair style; no dreads, twisties, high-top fades, etc.
• Able to learn a small bit of sign language
• Able to do a little fake-fighting for certain scenes.
Aeriel:
Grim, steely, no-nonsense, alien mercenary who is deadly to her enemies. She is confident, but not cocky.
The actress who will play the character named Aeriel needs to be:
• An African-American female
• Between the ages of 18 to 23, but look like they can pass for a high-school student
• Athletically-built
• Short to average height
• Long hair (bottom of neck to shoulder-length) and can rock a ponytail
• Able to do a little fake-fighting for certain scenes.
Cereus:
Alien humanoid/insect who looks human with the exception of his eyes and having antennae.
He is all about having a good time, but when it comes to a fight, Cereus is someone you want on your side. He wears sunglasses with lenses that look like bug eyes. And wears earring in left ear as well as an earring in his left antennae.
The actor who will play the character named Cereus needs to be:
• An African-American male
• Between the ages of 23 to 26
• Medium to athletic-build
• Average height for person age 23 to 26
• Willing to wear mini-dread wig
• Willing to wear contact lenses
Gyrak:
Alien humanoid who is very rich as he is very deadly. He comes off to individuals as nice and charming but is really darkly sinister with a black soul.
The actor who will play the character named Gyrak needs to be:
• A Caucasian male
• Between the ages of 26 to 30
• Medium to athletic-build
• Average height for person age 26 to 30
• Have either slicked-back hair or can be completely bald
• Willing to wear contact lenses
• Will wear a dress suit and shoes
• Able to do a little fake-fighting for certain scenes.
Some auditions will be in person, while some will be virtual.
Audition location, date and time will be announced to those who wish to audition.
Filming is planned to begin on Saturday, October 15th.
