The selected person will be responsible for:

• Operating and properly positioning the boom microphone
• Monitoring and recording clear dialogue during filming
• Watching audio levels and identifying unwanted background noise
• Setting up and maintaining microphones and audio-recording equipment
• Working closely with the director and camera crew
• Keeping audio files organized and properly labeled

Applicants should have some experience with production sound equipment and understand proper boom-microphone placement. You must be punctual, professional, attentive and able to remain focused during filming.

Production: Independent feature film
Filming Dates: November – January (8 shoots)
