Project Type: Episodic Series (Episode 1)

Production Location: Philadelphia, PA (Note: Production has moved from Harrisburg to Philadelphia for crew consideration).

Compensation: Paid role – $100 Flat Rate (Total project rate, not per day). Most actors only needed for 1 day.

Tentative Shoot Dates: June 20, June 21, and June 27, 2026 (Exact schedule finalized upon location confirmation).

Character Breakdowns (Roles Available):

DeShawn Cooper (Male, Late 30s)

Deeply bitter about the limited time he gets to spend with his son. His ex-wife has tied him up in family court for a year following their divorce due to his ongoing struggles to stay sober. His deep-seated bitterness has led to violent, haunting dreams that challenge his emotional stability and mental grip on reality.

Cedric Barksdale (Male, Early 40s)

A workaholic, reserved, and mild-mannered civil servant. He nearly implodes when he discovers his wife is cheating on him. When he confronts her and demands a divorce, she completely calls his bluff by instantly agreeing to it. The sudden discovery of a buried aspect of himself further rocks his usually calm and collected demeanor.

Eva Cooper (Female, Late 30s)

DeShawn’s fierce ex-wife. She strictly holds his feet to the fire regarding court compliance and sobriety before allowing him time with their son. She loves her child deeply but can be overbearing and rigid in how she treats her ex-husband.

Selena Barksdale (Female, Early 40s)

Cedric’s wife. While she is a doting and dedicated mother to their young daughters, she frequently sneaks away to party with her friends to escape what she feels has become a boring, stagnant marriage with Cedric.

Nikki Love (Female, Early to Mid 40s)

A sultry, confident seducer. She completely charmed and lured Troy into a passionate relationship via the internet under false pretenses.

Michelle (Female, 30s – 40s)

A poised, self-assured stranger who meets DeShawn at a bar. Intelligent and sharp, she directly challenges his bitter notions about divorce and relationships.

Therapist (Female, or Male Mid 30s – Mid 55s)

An eccentric, sharp-witted woman who commands the room as she leads specialized group therapy sessions focused on men navigating divorce.
