Hello!
I am seeking two actors for an online filmed reading of my new play, Corpus, on May 13th.
Mario – Latin-American, Male, 40s/50s, sensitive and academic
Young Mario – Latin-American, Male, Late Teens/20s, sensitive and academic, high-energy
The play deals with complicity and legal interpretation. It’s inspired by Robert Cover’s essays and his observation that “legal interpretation takes place in a field of pain and death.” There are three rehearsals scheduled for May 6th, May 10th, and May 12th (all from 7pm-9pm, all via Zoom) and the reading is on May 13th at 7:00 PM.
The reading is part of my graduate thesis presentation and it will be recorded. There is a small stipend.
