LOGLINE: A coming-of-age narrative about a girl named Erykah who learns to accept her natural hair as a part of her identity by resisting society’s beauty standards.

LEAD:
Alisha – Female, African American, 7 years old, Erykah’s friend, friendly, caring, open-minded

SUPPORTING:
Jack – Male, 19-21 years old, open ethnicity but not African American, oblivious
Dee – African American, hair stylist, 30 years old
Mrs. Duncan – Female, 30-40 years old, open ethnicity, friendly
