We are seeking a volunteer sound board operator and social media intern to volunteer their time every second Tuesday of each month, for our radio station in West Philadelphia. 6:30pm-8pm. The right candidate selected will be trained on the use of the sound board and will responsible for setting up and utilizing the technology during our live aired, radio live stream broadcast. The volunteer intern will also be responsible for attending a limited number of industry events to promote the radio show and interview potential guest, as well as contact potential guest as directed by the radio host, in addition to periodically submitting current industry news on our Facebook social media page. Depending upon the number of interns selected, you may only have to volunteer your time every other month, versus every month. There is no compensation for the intern position or education credits. However, volunteer interns have the opportunity to meet with industry professional and network while having fun and learning new technology tools. We ask that our interns be reliable, trustworthy, and professional and preferably live in the Philadelphia, PA area with reliable transportation to get to and from the radio station in West Philly. We anticipate the right candidate to start March 12th.
