Open Casting Call for short film Dormant
We are holding a casting call for a short film that is set to begin principal photography on 4/30. There will only be one production day. All roles are PAID and will be shot on location in Ridley Park and Philadelphia. You will be required to sign a contract and set aside time to meet, virtually or in person, for rehearsals! We are a small, female led production team and are only seeking motivated people to be part of our project! Our COVID protocol will include monitoring all cast and crews’s temperatures and enforcing a mask mandate for all crew. Only necessary personnel will be on set.
The film concerns a lonely woman’s struggle to overcome a depressive episode. The roles we are casting for are as follows:
ANASTASIA WILLIAMS- African-American; Ethnically Ambiguous.
Personality: Moody, Soft-Spoken, Depressed
JUDE WILLIAMS- African American; Ethnically Ambiguous
Personality: Cynical, Opinionated, Protective
JON STEVENS- Any Ethnicity.
